Data methodology
How Facto publishes, calculates and updates public SaaS metrics.
What we measure
MRR is monthly recurring revenue. ARR is an annualized MRR estimate (MRR × 12); it is not money collected. Revenue represents the total actually collected when verifiable history is available.
Sources and updates
Startups can provide public data and connect a payment provider. When a provider is connected, Facto synchronizes the financial summary; history refreshes after the cache exceeds 48 hours. Each profile shows the available source and update date.
Limits and verification
An expired credential or a source with no data is not interpreted as growth, revenue or MRR. We retain the last valid data when available and flag that it may be stale. These metrics do not replace diligence on a company.
Directory and ranking
Only published startups are included in indexable routes and the ranking. Ordering uses available metrics and incognito profiles respect their configured visibility.
